So there I was, headed from the hotel over to a grocery store about 1/3 of a mile away. Using the most common form of human transportation known to: walking.
As I press the crosswalk button bringing traffic to a standstill, I walk out into the road feeling like an intruder.
I don’t belong here.
They resent me.
I need to hurry to show respect.
Amazing how quickly our species went from thousands of years of bi-pedal motion to viewing it as a nuisance and intrusion on our busy and productive lives.
NOTE: I enjoyed my walk.
